BOB & TOBLY MCSMITH (Book & Lyrics)

Singfeld! is The McSmith Brothers 10th Musical Parody to hit the New York Stage and Beyond.  Their musicals have played in New York, Toronto, Chicago, Las Vegas, Australia, Poland and three national tours. Tobly McSmith is author of Stay Gold and Act Cool,  young adult novels about love, staying true to yourself, and transgender issues. He has created The Stay Gold Foundation to provide gender affirming resources to transgender and non-binary people in need.

BILLY RECCE the Composer

BILLY RECCE (Composer)

Billy Recce is a two time MAC Award winning NYC based composer/lyricist and singer/songwriter, most recently represented by the Las Vegas and Off-Broadway hit musical A MUSICAL ABOUT STAR WARS, for which he wrote the music and lyrics (Cast Album on Broadway Records) and the Billboard Charting Concept Album LITTLE BLACK BOOK, about the life and times of Heidi Fleiss. LITTLE BLACK BOOK and his queer, Chick-Fil-A Musical Satire FOWL PLAY are both slated for production next year. In addition, he is a prolific cabaret and concert artist, selling out various cabaret venues across the country. His songs have been heard internationally and at the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, Cadogan Hall, and more. His debut album THE PERKS OF BEING A SNOWFLAKE is streaming on all platforms.

MARC DAVID WRIGHT the Director

MARC DAVID WRIGHT (Director)

is a director/producer of theatre and film, community creator, and arts educator. Born and raised in Bayonne, NJ, Marc crossed the Hudson to study acting at Fordham University (B.A. Theatre 2019). He discovered directing at school, where his production of Dark Play or Stories For Boys received an Ars Nova research grant to travel to Edinburgh Fringe, where it was named one of the “10 Must-See LGBT Shows” of the festival. Theatre: Planet W: A New Musical in Concert (The Green Room 42), Sanctuary City (Pasadena Playhouse, AD), Self Tape (Alchemical Studios), What to Expect When You’re Expecting Our Lord and Savior (The Players Theater), Dark Play or Stories For Boys (Edinburgh Fringe, Fordham). Film: Enterprise 25: A Cinematic Advent Calendar for Instagram, As You Like It or the Pursuit of Love in Shared Isolation, Slay!. Co-Founder and Creative Director of The Village, connecting emerging artists with New York audiences at five sold-out Salon events and counting (iminthevillage.org). Proud drama teacher and director at several children’s and high school theatre education programs across New Jersey.

RITA POSILLICO  the Music Director and did Music Arrangement

RITA POSILLICO (Music Arrangement)

Rita Posillico is a musician/actress from New York. She has been involved in the entertainment industry for over 10 years, performing, composing and music directing at venues such as 54 Below, Joe's Pub, The Bitter End, and currently The Office! A Musical Parody and Friends! The Musical Parody. Her original musical Could Have Been has been produced in Manhattan three times, including receiving an award at the NY Theater Festival. She has also had her work nominated for best score in a comedic web series at the LAWebfest and has a single out on Spotify titled One Last Bite with her original blues/rock group Rita & The Playboys. She currently fronts the band Hot Cake and BangosNYC and is set to release her EP ‘Moxie Poe’ this coming summer. An actor, singer, pianist, guitarist, and writer, Rita continues to work on writing new compositions and performing in the New York area.

JORDAN RYDER the Choreographer

JORDAN RYDER (Choreographer)

Jordan Ryder (she/her) is a choreographer, movement director and dancer. She is a graduate of New York University Tisch School of the Arts where she holds a BFA in Dance and a double minor in Sociology and Entertainment Business. Jordan is the Artistic Director of RyderDance, a contemporary dance company, where her work has been presented at notable venues across the tri-state area, Atlanta, and Chicago, and has reached a global audience virtually. East coast venues include the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, The Loew's Jersey Theatre, Mark Morris Dance Center, Martha Graham Studio Theater, and Dixon Place, to name a few. Most recently Jordan choreographed and directed her first sold-out RyderDance season in Manhattan. Choreographic commissions include Eryc Taylor Dance Company, New York University Tisch School of the Arts, Rogue Wave Dance | Fall for Fall Dance Festival, Bromance Web Series, Melange Dance Company, and One Day Dance, among others. Her work with Eryc Taylor Dance Company was featured on PBS. @ryderdance | ryderdance.com

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring my bags into the theater?

Yes, you may bring small bags or backpacks into the theater, however it is best to leave suitcases & other large bags behind, as they may not be able to fit beneath your seat. 

 

Do you issue refunds?

All Sales are final. If you must cancel due to illness, purchased tickets may be past-dated for another performance. Please call the Box Office at (212) 921-7862 to make arrangements if necessary.

 

Is there a lost and found?

Is there a dress code?

There is no specific dress code for our theater. Feel free to dress comfortably.

Casting Calls are by invitation only.

Please refer to the age-appropriateness rating of the TV show.

Runtime

90 minutes with no intermission. 
 

Ticket Issues or Codes Not Working

If you encounter any issues with your tickets or discount codes, please call (212) 921-7862 for assistance. If your tickets were purchased through a third-party seller (ie. TodayTix, Groupon, etc.), issues must be handled directly by those organizations.

When Does Your Show Close?

There is no set closing date.

Are there Group Sales discounts available?

Yes. Group discount rates are available for groups of 10 or more (invite your Newman!). To book a group, call the Box Office at (212) 921-7862. 

Is there a Rush Policy? 

Rush tickets are available at the Box Office on the day of the performance.
